In order to keep our Residents safe

All visitors to Richardson House must have received a current Influenza Vaccination (as per Federal Government directive effective 1st June 2021)

Visitors will not be permitted to enter the facility if they:

  • have returned from Overseas within the last 14 days

  • have been in contact with someone who has returned from overseas in the last 14 days

  • have resided in or visited any places in Australia where there have been active cases of COVID-19 

  • are displaying any symptoms that may be linked to COVID-19

  • have a temperature in excess of 37.5 degrees

From the 27th June 2021;

  • all visitors to the facility MUST wear a mask

  • only two visitors per Resident per day are permitted

  • All visits must take place in the Resident's Room

If you are at all unwell, please do not visit the facility until you have completely recovered.

All visitors to Richardson House must complete a health questionnaire, sign the register and have their temperature taken by staff before entering.

Please adhere to hand hygiene, social distancing and cough and sneeze etiquette while at Richardson House.

There are no restrictions regarding the number of visitors, however we do ask that social distancing be maintained during visits.

Residents are permitted to leave the facility, however an outing form must be completed prior to the outing.  Please see our staff for more information.

Please be kind to our staff.  This has been a very stressful time for everyone and the workload of our staff has increased significantly due to the Pandemic.  If they are unable to permit entry to you, please be understanding and respectful as these measures are in place to keep your loved ones safe.
