As Per NSW Health Directive

Updated Guidelines for Aged Care Facilities as of 7th October 2021.  These are effective as of the 11th of October:

  • Two visitors per Resident per Day are permitted.  Visits are to take place in the Resident’s room or in the Garden.

  • Visitors can see more than one Resident but not at the same time (unless family)

  • ALL visitors MUST be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and their second dose received at least 14 days prior to their visit.  Proof of vaccination is to be sighted by staff prior to entry (at this stage we will not be recording, they will need to present each time).

  • Children under 12 years of age are NOT permitted to enter an aged care facility.

  • All visitors MUST wear a surgical mask while in the facility.

Visitors must NOT enter the facility if they:

  • Have been to any close, casual or monitor for symptoms locations in the last 14 days

  • Have been in a Stay At Home (Lockdown) area in the last 14 days

  • Have any COVID-19 symptoms

  • Are a close contact of a person with COVID-19 and are within their isolation period

  • Live in a household with a person who is currently isolating

  • Are waiting for a COVID-19 test result
