Visitors will not be permitted to enter the facility if they:

  • have been in contact with someone who has returned from overseas in the last 14 days

  • have resided in or visited any places in Australia where there have been active cases of COVID-19 (e.g. Sydney & Victoria)

Please adhere to hand hygiene, social distancing and cough and sneeze etiquette while at Richardson House.

Richardson House has implemented visiting hours between 10:45am and 12:15pm and 3:30pm to 5pm.  Residents are permitted to have 2 people visit per session.

Visits are restricted to the Resident's room or in the garden.  We ask that visitors not linger or visit with Residents in common areas.

Residents are permitted to leave the facility to visit a private home once a week. Please contact us to discuss this further should you wish to arrange for an outing for a Resident.

Please be kind to our staff.  This has been a very stressful time for everyone and the workload of our staff has increased significantly due to the Pandemic.  If they are unable to permit entry to you, please be understanding and respectful as these measures are in place to keep your loved ones safe.

We thank you for your cooperation and understanding regarding these restrictions.
